Smirnoff Equalizing Music Site

In celebration of International Women's Day, Smirnoff wanted to shine the spotlight on women in the electronic music industry. A group that is constantly overlooked by their male counterparts, and wanted to profile the top 50 women in electronic music today.

My Role

As interactive designer, my role was to lay the foundation for the UX/UI of the site. As well as integration of Spotify Playlists, Social Media sharing, grid based navigation elements, and web design/development.

Challenges

Production revolved around extremely tight deadlines for preliminary mocks and final delivery. Which was aided by the use of apps such as Sketch, Photoshop, and the Ceros Content Marketing software. I was able to complete prototypes for client review, as well as final asset delivery of 50+ artist pages for desktop and mobile within a week.

Results

In the following week, the site had been translated into 2 other languages, Spanish and Portuguese, that allowed for worldwide reach of the site. This was one of the first of many marketing campaigns for VICE, and has been a testament of what could be achieved under extremely tight challenges.
